This is a great time to get comfortable with me, especially if you’re a bit nervous. Get ready to go over all the fun details of your session! Once we talk, you’ll feel way more comfortable and excited! The consultation is a one-on-one meeting (usually done over zoom) to go over any questions, and talk about every detail you so know exactly what to expect, and feel totally confident walking into your photoshoot. We’ll go over any and every question you have, nothing is TMI I promise, I’ve heard it allllll.

We'll look at my albums, books, and prints, go over session details like style, wardrobe, makeup, and inspiration, and design a session that you'll absolutely love. If we’re a good fit to work together, we’ll look at the calendar and pick a date for your session.

This is not a sales session, there is zero pressure to book or buy upsells, I’m truly here to connect with you and help in any way I can to make the experience joyful and fulfilling.

POST-CHAT

If we’re a good fit and we'd like to move forward, I’ll send you a proposal with a contract and invoice to make your booking official. Once you submit it, your date is secured on my calendar and you can start the fun part of finding outfits, and looking forward to your session with me! All my payments can be customized however you like, if there are certain increments or payments schedules that work best for you, just let me know!

After we chat, I'll send you my prep guide that has a summary of everything we talked about, as well as a little checklist for any prep you'd like to do like self-care & wardrobe. If you're having a hard time deciding between outfits, please don't hesitate to reach out, I'm here to help! I have clients send me screenshots of things they're considering, or snaps from the store, if you need an opinion, I'm here for you :)

THE PHOTOSHOOT

Your day in front of the camera! Depending on the type of session you book, your session will last 1 to 4 hours. If your session includes Hair & Makeup, we’ll ask you to arrive with clean hair and clean skin, ready for hair & makeup. You can sip some coffee or champagne, and chat with us while you get styled up, it’s a great way to settle in and relax before your session!

You’ll get to know my hair & makeup artist, she’s amazing! It’s only ever us two at the studio, and she doesn’t stay for your session. I don’t have assistants or share the space with anyone else, it’s super private.

Once we’ve picked out your first outfit and you’re feeling ready, we’ll begin with some easy poses to get started, and before you know it you’ll be right at home.

Anytime you need a little break, we’ll stop and sip some water, refresh any curls or makeup if needed, change outfits, and then carry on. If you have any specific poses in mind, be sure to bring them on your phone for reference. I never duplicate shots exactly, but it can be helpful to see the spirit or vibe of what catches your eye.

So many clients have said that sessions are easier and more fun then they expected, which makes me so happy to hear!

After your session expect to be a little hungry and tired, you are doing something new and challenging, so treat yourself kindly! It can be nice to plan a lunch or dinner since you’ll be glammed up, or just a relaxing soak in the bath to unwind and relax. You just did something amazing, celebrate!

After your session, I download, backup, and choose the best shots from each pose, and edit them gently using my signature Naturally Radiant Retouching method. This includes zapping any blemishes, banishing any bruises, and gently visiting anything that might need a little love, while letting your natural radiance shine through so you aways feel like you're looking at yourself. I never do digital plastic surgery, or anything to alter your natural body and face. We're here to celebrate you, not change you! I also edit for light & color, so you'll receive both Color and Black & White digital images.

Your photos are done being edited! This is the most fun day! You’ll be excited (and a little nervous!) to see your images which is why I do everything in person (via zoom) so we can gush about them together, celebrate how awesome you look, and pick out your favorite ones to print if you’re choosing a printed item. You will keep all the digital images I have edited for you, and they are derived via online tally & glass flash drive.

This typically happens about 1-3 weeks after your session. This is the time where you'll pay for your images, unless you choose to have a payment plan.

* *possibly longer in busy seasons but I always keep your deadline in mind. **If you need a tighter turnaround, just ask! Next-day reveals can be arranged for a rush fee. *schedule permitting.

Different session types come with different numbers of images, which you can see in more detail below. If you love them and want me to edit extra, you totally can. Extra hours and days of editing can be added on at any point. 

The reveal is never sales-y, it’s a celebration of you and your beautiful photos, and helping you choose how you’ll treasure and live with them, and I’m here to guide you through all of that. 

I use a professional grade printer that offers the finest quality prints and albums. They are truly lovely and I know you’re going to love them! 

After your payments have been completed you'll get a private password protected gallery link to your images, and also delivered on my beautiful gold & glass flash drive. Prints and Art Albums typically take one to two weeks to be created, and they are typically shipped to me so I can put my finishing touches on them and make sure everything is absolutely perfect before I deliver it to you, or an option to pick it up at the studio if you prefer.
